Dreadful Day Ever
It all started with a case of uncontrollable hair. I couldn't make it to look decent. As I was running out the door, I stumbled and landed all over the carpet. To make matters worse, I was completely running behind for a very important appointment.

It all started out terribly with a simple mishap/incident/screw-up. But then things went from bad to absolutely terrible. A series/chain/cascade of unfortunate/awful/disastrous events unfolded/occurred/piled on top each other, leaving me feeling like I was in a nightmare/horror movie/comedy of errors. It's the kind of situation where you just want to run away and hide.
